This position has primary responsibility for coordinating delivery operations including routing, delivering and backhauling activities.

• Hire, train and manage all delivery driver personnel

• Manage delivery drivers in all aspects including customer service, accuracy, and productivity

• Oversee driver scheduling to ensure timely delivery of product

• Open the building daily and close the building as required on a daily or weekly basis, with Fridays being mandatory close.

• Coordinate all safety activities for Delivery staff

• Manage the efficiency of the delivery routes to include ongoing communication with the Routing team in St Paul and Johnson Brothers Wisconsin Management Team.

• Interface with customers solving discrepancies, problems and creating a cohesive relationship.

• Foster and maintain a collaborative relationship with the sales, warehouse, delivery and customer service departments.

• Regular attendance, timeliness, and adherence to Johnson Brothers PTO policy

• Weekly ride along with Drivers to ensure proper Customer Service, Productivity, and Safety practices

• Maintain a valid CDL license

• Accurately complete all daily appropriate paperwork

• Payroll and Incentive oversight

• To include any other requests made by Management not included in these specifically outlined

• Online Fuel Card System Management

Job Requirements

• 2 year associates degree

• 3+ years of experience in delivery operations

• Familiar with Warehouse Management Systems and bar code scanning technology

• Familiar with dynamic routing solutions such as Omnitracs

• Familiar with GPS tracking software

• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Suite and internet applications
