Delivery Driver

We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team at Carpinteria Farm. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting products to our customers in a timely manner. You will ensure the proper handling and delivery of goods while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to dispensaries and through different cities. San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles and San Diego
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle
• Complete logs and reports
• Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing any customer concerns or issues
• Assist with warehouse duties as directed

Requirements

• Per state law, must be at least 21 years of age.
• a current valid State-issued ID or Drivers License.
• Must be a US citizen
• Live Scan and Background screening Required
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
• Ability to navigate various locations and follow GPS directions
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift heavy packages, up to 60 lbs
• Basic math skills for keeping track of inventory and orders
• Great time management and organizational skills
• Guard Card Certification required
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
• Punctual and reliable
• Previous experience as a deliverer/courier is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in the marijuana/cannabis industry is preferred but not required.
• Current Schedule: On Call will turn into full time in the summer
• Pay Rate Starts at $20/hr.

Physical Requirement: A Delivery Driver should expect to sit for long periods of time and possess the ability to move and/or lift 30 lbs. to 60 lbs.
