The Delivery Claims Administrator responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Partner with Home Delivery team to ensure that merchandise claims are submitted in accordance to contractual agreements.

  • Maintain relationships with 3PLs to meet or exceed customer expectations.

  • Maximize relationships with internal and external partners to maintain operating cost

  • Record and report for all unpaid chargeback receivables, by 3PL provider.

  • Publish daily reports for charge backs, concessions, and delivery provider status/aging for merchandise claims per 3PL.

Essential Functions:

  • Weekly recaps of outstanding receivables sent to each 3PL provider.

  • Facilitate conversations daily with Home Delivery teams regarding concessions based on driver performance.

  • Mentor and answer questions regarding best practices for submitting claims.

  • Work concessions daily that come in from the Delivery Call Center. Communicate opportunities as needed to 3PL partners & Home Delivery team.

  • Collaborate with Home Delivery providers on process improvements.

  • Partner with leaders and Home Delivery teams to maintain and improve the chargeback program.

  • Continuous improvement through self-development.

  • Collaborate and maintain positive working relationship with internal and external partners.

  • Additional assignments as designated by Manager.


  • High School education

  • At least 1 year of MS Excel experience

Physical requirements and/or environment: Distribution Center/Cross Dock

This position will primarily be remote, but you may be required to travel as needed. The starting salary for this position is $55,000 per year. Our Claims Coordinators oversee the claims process and investigations to reduce overall damage expense and assist in increasing quality. Maintain positive relations with customers by proactively preventing damages and promptly and effectively resolving damage claims through strong relationships and teamwork. Your Responsibilities as a Claims Coordinator: Compile all damage investigation information, including claims related data and documentation needed to help resolve claims, and provides it to the customer. Determine damages liability and appropriate settlement range and negotiates settlements with customers. Meet at customers’ request and/or periodically to resolve claims. Visit sites with customers to demonstrate any locate issues encountered in the locate process. Review damages daily and evaluates liability risk for each case based on all available locate data and documentation. Estimate damages liability. Review and approve or deny invoices for claims payment. Review damages with Supervisors and District Managers to help determine root cause and any follow-up technician training needs. Provide financial and other relevant claims-related reports to support District operations. Perform site visits with technicians to educate technicians and ensure they understand the root cause of damages, as necessary. Attend and provides relevant data and documentation at pre-trial meetings with customers and their legal departments. Attend trials to assist customers’ collection efforts. Review/provide documentation to support critical defenses, as required.
