Get onboard the UTC Aerospace Operations and Supply Chain team and play a part in managing our innovative products from inception to delivery. Operations and Supply Chain employees have the opportunity to network across our businesses and functions, all while improving the productivity, quality and efficiency of our operations worldwide.

As a Delivery Assurance Field Rep. for the East Region you will have the responsibility to:

  • Work with suppliers in the region to improve supplier delivery commits to UTAS in order to achieve improved delivery to operations.

  • Work with suppliers to provide Line of Balance for critical deliveries, and WIP trackers as needed to support such deliveries.

Primary Responsibilites:

  • Work with BUs to understand critical parts impact, and status at suppliers

  • Expedite critical parts out of suppliers

  • Work with supplier to create a Line of Balance (LOB) and WIP Tracker to indicate part recovery status

  • Communicate critical parts status using LOB and WIP Tracker to BU Operations and leadership

  • Identify possible drivers of late deliveries, and communicate systemic issues to Supplier Development

  • Follow up on actions to close gaps affecting delivery

  • Drive delivery improvement plans such as overdue reduction, and buffer compliance

  • Work with suppliers to create actions that will address gaps identified

  • Work with supplier to expedite at Outside Processing Houses as needed

  • Brief Supplier Performance and BU leadership of progress on critical part status

  • Work with BU to Eliminate risks and roadblocks such us outstanding SRIs, CADs, and FAIs that prevent suppliers from meeting performance targets, and escalate as needed

  • Participate in or lead process improvement projects to streamline East Region Supplier Performance Operations

These objectives are achieved with extensive brand knowledge and through industry contacts both on and off premise. The successful candidate will represent Sazerac at various functions and support the State Manager in development of programs and ensure distributor accountability. Responsibilities for the Alternative Beverage Alcohol Field Sales Representative include but are not limited to: * Achieving volume objectives for the brand state priorities for the assigned territory and surrounding area * Monitoring and ensuring Brand State Priority volume objectives are achieved in the region. * Supporting our distributor in sales merchandising activities such as building displays, developing and displaying point of sale, etc. * Monitoring agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) with key retailers in the region * Executing on the identified Priorities, Projects and Tasks to ensure the territory is properly focused on the highest priority and highest reward projects * Supporting State Sales Managers with brand building, programming, and distribution activities with customers * Providing retail level (on and off-premise) intelligence through quarterly Competitive Brand Information reports regarding trending brands and emerging consumer behavior and consumption patterns * Ensuring maximum effectiveness and execution of market activities (displays, POS, activities) * Developing successful relationships with accounts, visiting them regularly, and provide feedback Qualifications/Requirements Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Business or commensurate experience * Proficient in Microsoft office products * Strong leadership and communication skills * A valid driver's license * Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends) * Willingness to travel * Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously * Strong planning and organizational skills * Candidates must reside in or near their territory * Must be able to personally pay or charge ordinary and necessary business expenses that will be timely reimbursed Preferred Qualifications: * Undergraduate Degree in Accounting, Business or related field * Wine and spirits industry experience * 3-7 years of relevant experience Sazerac Company Charlotte NC
