Lunds & Byerlys Delicatessen Culinary Professionals is a full-time training program designed to provide the skills, knowledge, and experience you need to build a successful leadership career in our Deli department. Lunds & Byerlys' Deli departments deliver local staples and favorites while also being the leader in trend forward, innovative food options. We are looking for the next generation of leaders to continue this tradition of excellence.

No formal experience required!

You will:

  • Spend time in our classroom training facility learning a variety of skills and knowledge from experts across the organization

  • Travel to our manufacturing facilities in Eden Prairie and Lake Mills to learn about product development and production.

  • Visit our partners at US Foods, Fortune Fish and Gourmet, and others to experience all phases of products and broaden understanding of the Deli industry.

  • Travel to various Lunds & Byerlys locations to learn from and shadow different Deli teams to understand our company culture, get to know our customers, and understand department operations.

  • Master the skills and knowledge required to be a Deli leader at Lunds & Byerlys.

We will:

  • Provide high-quality, personalized, and actionable learning and development experiences.

Schedule: This is a full-time, 40 hour a week opportunity. During the first 30-days in this position, your schedule will be Monday-Friday. Following the first 30-days your schedule will mirror the experienced Deli employee you are shadowing, which could include Monday-Sunday scheduling. Schedules are provided two weeks in advance.

Compensation: During your time as a program participant, you will earn $20.50/hour. Once you graduate from the training program, you will earn $21.50/hour.
