Defense Research Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Provide support to the Joint test and evaluation program, USSTRATCOM and AFJO for test and evaluation of strategic weapons employment operational doctrine. Provide test scheduling, detailed test planning, data collection planning and post-event reporting for project test events. Observe test and evaluation operations to ensure data collected addresses measure of performance and effectiveness. Maintain responsibility for conducting test planning expertise to help client prepare for table top exercise (TTX) and field test events.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing scenario or MSEL inputs for exercise or test events

  • Experience in coordinating test requirements and resources

  • Experience in developing detailed test plans and test and evaluation report analysis

  • Experience in developing data collection and analysis methodologies to ensure that all test data collected is of sufficient quantity, quality, and relevancy to meet test objectives

  • Knowledge of United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), Joint Staff, Defense agency and Air Force global strike command roles and responsibilities

  • Knowledge of the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) and military exercise planning processes

  • Secret clearance

  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in Joint or operational Test and Evaluation (T&E)
  • Experience with strategic weapons systems or operations
  • TS/SCI clearance
