About You: You thrive off of filling tough Requisitions. You blend a mix of elegant sourcing techniques, excellent closing skills, grit, and a dash of business acumen together to produce results that hiring managers crave. You're also a leader, you help your teammates, share your knowledge, and make others around you better.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Development of the company's talent acquisition strategy
  • Develop companys policy for talent benchmarking, talent assessment, and interviewing
  • Conduct sourcing activities in order to fill open positions
  • Determine effective screening questions and post requisitions within our Application Tracking System
  • Screens talent to assess for candidate's technical qualifications, cultural, and team fit
  • Perform analysis of organizational development and anticipate future employment needs
  • Assess and manage recruitment and selection processes (resume screening, screening calls, interviews etc.)
  • Reviews employment applications and facilitates security checks
  • Negotiates offers, prepares offer letter requests, and follows up to ensure success in closing candidates
  • Serve as brand ambassador at various events, like career fairs or on-campus recruiting events
  • Represent company internally and externally at events with a goal of networking and relationship building with potential candidate communities
  • Counsel the candidate on corporate benefits, salary, and corporate environment
  • Build long-term relationships with past and potential candidates
  • Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities
  • Generate recurring updates for companys leadership about upcoming talent acquisition initiatives
  • Create recurring reports on key talent acquisition metrics
  • Communicate regularly with HR department to get a clear view of companys hiring needs and organizational goals
  • Work closely with marketing department to develop creative ways for addressing talent acquisition challenges
  • Proactively seek market intelligence to gain competitive advantage in attraction, assessment, and sourcing methodologies
  • Suggest new ideas for improving talent acquisition activities
  • Research talent acquisition trends in the staffing industry
  • May develop and maintain professional relationships with college, university, and community college placement offices
  • Works special projects as assigned; including proposal support, new contract transitions, corporate projects including process improvement or innovation initiatives
  • Responsible for a requisition load of 10 - 20 active requisitions

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and five to seven years' of full-life cycle recruiting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with the proven ability to fill multiple hard to fill positions simultaneously
  • Five (5) years' recruiting for cleared, technical positions with government contracts or within the federal industry
  • Experience sourcing resumes on Indeed & LinkedIn, and preferably on ClearanceJobs
  • Professionalism, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Motivated to excel, competitive in nature, does not confuse "effort" with "results"
  • Expert Boolean searcher, active recruiter who goes out and finds passive candidates
  • Excellent sales skills, persuasive, and charismatic
  • Great organizer, on top of all issues and does not waste time presenting weak candidates
  • Solutions oriented and creative, out of the box thinker, identifies ways of working smartly
  • Knowledgeable of how to use an Applicant Tracking System
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Develop collaborative relationships with hiring managers to meet their current and future staffing needs
  • Develop creative sourcing plans to fill open positions and effectively source potential candidates via a variety of resources, including diversity partnerships
  • Extend offers on behalf of the company and Hiring Manager in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Ensure all recruitment efforts are conducted in compliance with all policies, laws, and hiring best practices
