Our first product, Hai, is a universal recommendation engine that maps taste across categories (music, movies, games, etc.) to help find more of what you love.
Through our website, app, and messenger interaction, Hai syncs with other platforms to serve as a cultural home and launchpad for personal exploration.
Sponsored by Nvidia, AWS and Stanfords StartX program, were looking for a deep learning expert to help our product understand tastes and help our growing team develop the heart of AI.
What youll do: - Collaborate with our agile team of researchers and engineers.

  • Design and implement efficient systems to understand users textual queries in real time.

  • Elaborate algorithms to extract relevant informations from text reviews or descriptions.

  • Elaborate algorithms to extract relevant informations from images data.
    Who you are: - You want to join a small team of hard-workers, to build an awesome product thatll help everyone you know.

  • You have a PhD in Deep Learning, with focus on Computer Vision and/or Natural Language Processing.

  • You have strong knowledge on Computer Science, Computational Learning and HPC fundamentals: algorithms, systems, linear algebra, numerical methods, statistics.

  • You have at least two years of experience in Theano and/or TensorFlow.

  • You used CUDA on clusters of GPUs professionally.

  • You are allowed to work in the US.

VIEW JOBS 12/4/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-04T00:00 Job ID : 80208BR Location : US - California - South San Francisco : Job Description Summary of Internship The Deep Learning Internship position provides an opportunity for STEM students who are currently enrolling a postgraduate program in computer science, electrical engineering, statistics, or similar, to get hands on experience working with scientists and engineers in a multidisciplinary and fast-paced environment. The intern will apply the state-of-the-art deep learning techniques to solved a complex and unexplored problem for improving the Ion Torrent Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) platform. The position starts in June, paid working 40 hours per week through August. Opportunity exists for this position to continue through the academic year on a part-time basis to allow for class schedules.
