Job Overview:

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our Dedicated Operations team. The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative services for the Dedicated VP, Director and Regional Managers

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • Microsoft Office knowledge

  • Good data entry skills

  • Extensive PC skills to include e-mails, spreadsheets, pivot tables and word-processing. Excel and Access required

  • AS400 experience helpful, not required

  • Ability to handle position functions without direct supervision

  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug test.

  • No convictions of serious crimes or felonies.

  • Professional, clean, neat appearance

  • Ability to work independently without supervision; take initiative and be a self-starter

  • Ability to plan and organize workload; flexibility to handle pressure and work with interruptions and meet deadlines; attention to details

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities

  • Willingness to learn and accept responsibility

  • Ability to work varied hours and shifts

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Dedicated Operations Managers in updating customers' scheduling and load update systems

  • Assist Dedicated Operations Managers with EDI load updates

  • Assist Director of Dedicated Operations, Dedicated Regional Manager(s) and Dedicated Operations Manager(s) with consolidating data, creating and providing daily reports as required by our Dedicated

  • Assist VP of Dedicated and Director of Dedicated Operations in consolidating operations data need for operation and customer analysis

  • Assists VP of Dedicated with consolidating data for per operation and per customer operational reports.

  • Assists VP of Dedicated and VP of Dedicated Sales with creating sales presentations

  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.

We thank you for your interest in SoBran SoBran is seeking a Veterinary Technician (Temporary) for our facility in Greensboro, North Carolina. Essential Duties: * Maintain accurate and detailed records including animal health records. * Perform prescribed treatments on animals. * Read and understand technical requirements stated in Animal Study Protocols (ASP) and discern discrepancies between technical requests and ASP's. * Perform or assist other personnel to perform technical procedures. * Restrain, handle, and manipulate various animal species. * Perform daily animal health surveillance checks and report any abnormal conditions of either the animals or the animal room environment to the appropriate individual. * Prepare and submit required written records, charts, logs, and inventories in a timely manner. * Maintain surgical and sampling equipment. * Perform routine animal care and husbandry duties as needed. * Interact with all personnel in a manner which promotes a professional work environment. * Perform other duties as assigned. Work Schedule * This is a temporary position and will require work on an as needed basis. * Weekend and holiday work is required in this position; in addition to, extra hours during emergency situations and for study related activities. Experience and Education: * Bachelor's degree, preferably in animal or biological sciences; may be substituted for equivalent experience. * At least 1 years of experience in a laboratory animal facility or veterinary clinic. * Certified by the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science as an Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician (ALAT) preferred. * Experience with large animal surgical and technical procedures. * Proficiency with basic computer programs such as MS Word and MS Excel. * GLP knowledge and experience preferred. * Must be able to lift a maximum of 50lbs; bend, stoop, climb, and stand for a prolonged period.
