Decoding Specialist

Position Overview:

The Decoding Team will provide resources to sales team, by receiving customer RFQ's (Excel format) inputting them into the S-Tool in the most efficient and effective way possible. The role will be responsible for decoding articles to identify if an article number already exists, and from there determine next steps.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBITLIES include the following and all other duties assigned:

• Receive incoming RFQ's via Microsoft Excel or decoding projects from Team Lead.

• Identify articles that are currently in the system and input them into S-Tool Project.

• Identify if article is not currently in the system and properly describe and build article in S-Tool.

• Provide Project Key back to sales team to follow up on S-Tool project.

• Communicate additional information needs to Offer Team and process accordingly when a response is received.

• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Bachelor's Degree and/or combination of equivalent education and experience.

• Five years industry experience with focus on technical aspects of the business preferred.

• Proven ability to communicate concisely at all levels inside and outside the company, both in written and verbal communications.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Action oriented with proven track record of achieving business goals.

• Strategic thinker; uses creative and innovative problem solving approach to achieve goals.

• Ability to travel less than 10% as needed.
