The Dealer Floor Plan Specialist is responsible for the daily processing of the loan servicing department; including boarding, funding, collateral, shipment, reconciliation, settlement of floorplan loans. Additionally, this position must deliver a high level of service by providing efficient, professional, and quality customer service to all Republic Bank & Trust Company internal and external clients.


  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.

  • Minimum of 1 year previous customer service or banking experience required.

  • Minimum of 2 years automotive financial services industry experience preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and Internet applications.


  • Responsible for prompt, accurate, and efficient customer service to both internal and external customers.

  • Works closely with Dealer Floor Plan Servicing (DFPS) Manager to ensure operational standards are consistent with the most current regulatory guidelines and that effective controls are implemented. Department files are audited at a minimum of monthly to mitigate risk and losses to the bank.

  • Perform all aspects of commercial loan servicing operations, which include; boarding, funding, collateral shipment, reconciliation, settlement and customer service.

  • Ensures all on and off boarding are done daily and timely for the Dealer Floorplan Lending portfolio.

  • Ensures all lot audits are reconciled timely and issues identified and resolved to minimize any potential losses and reported to the DFPS Manager.

  • Ensures all statements, notices and necessary reporting is compiled and distributed as necessary.

  • Ensure adherence to scheduled shift start times and break times to optimize availability.

  • Maintain a working knowledge of compliance requirements affecting your position and area of responsibilities and actively learn new regulations and assist in the implementation, if required.

  • Willingly performs all other duties and projects as assigned.

  • Must have strong analytical skills.

  • Travel between Republic Banking facilities and or Clients may be required.

  • Reliable transportation is required.

  • Occasional around town and out-of-town travel may be required.

  • Requires a flexible work schedule that may include some evening and weekends and overtime.

  • Stay abreast of new developments, best practices, and industry changes, as well as statutory and regulatory changes.
