This role will support the Greater Northeast region with the ideal candidate residing in Pennsylvania or Ohio.

Job Summary

Determines open points required for proper positioning of Club Car products in the development of a strong dealer network. Responsible for the implementation of distribution strategies into target markets. Provides leadership, guidance and support to field sales employees to ensure Club Car policies, procedures and programs are applied for new dealer development as well as dealer termination. Along with developing the dealer network the Dealer Development Specialist will be accountable for retail growth, increasing market share, and building the brand.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identifies and prioritizes open points; analyzes output of market, calculates full market potential.

  • Manages new dealer process; selects, requests approval, signs, and sets up new dealers. Actively manages prospecting process including quarterly prospect meeting.

  • Develops, coordinates and conducts sell-in presentations to new dealer prospects.

  • Is the legal liaison between company attorneys and the field

  • Works with the field sales to identify and recommend potential dealers in targeted markets and open points in the respective markets to facilitate a straightforward dealer selection decision.

  • Informs field sales employees of potential problems with dealership; makes recommendation for resolution, if appropriate; ensures that good cause process is followed for dealer terminations.

  • Audit dealers for brand requirements and compliance on every dealer call, review interior & exterior elements.

  • Manage share of floor, wall and displays for Club Car brand(s) ensuring no cross branding or unapproved aftermarket products in displays.

  • Negotiates contracts with prospective investors to gain initial order, set up dealer requirements, etc.

  • Conducts new dealer set-up training and non-product training.

  • Maintains rapport and satisfactory public relations with dealers.

  • Submits progress reports and presents market findings and recommendation and reports sales results for market initiatives.

  • Partner with dealers to execute a local marketing plans to drive traffic; execute digital media plan that supports dealership and is linked to the OEM; establish a sales process including PTVs, aftermarket, F&I, service and/or used wholegoods; ensure retail, share, and growth goals are met in PTVs, Aftermarket and all Financial products.

  • Attend and support commercial events in your regional (national if required)

  • Implement marketing campaigns; partner with dealers to execute organized demo process.

  • Support dealers in Black and Gold Program achievement.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field required

  • 3-5 years of field sales, retail sales experience and sales administration capability with proven track record required

  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills required

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Business development experience preferred

  • Computerized mapping experience preferred

  • Sales and marketing experience preferred

  • Industry, dealership, and product knowledge preferred

  • Experience with two-tier distribution network strategy

  • Forecasting and analytical skills

  • Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to:

  • DUI in the previous 5 years

  • Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Field based position. Home office environment with support from corporate location.

  • Extensive travel within district 50-75%. Some travel to other locations corporate functions may be required.

ROLE PURPOSE To develop a strategy to increase sales in the select industries through year to year incremental growth. Position requires working with and supporting the Regional Sales team and Inside Sales Manager. The coverage is for North, Central, and South America ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES (In descending order of importance, list the essential duties and responsibilities of the position.) Primary job scope is to support FLS sales personnel in developing value proposition strategies to the defined markets in North, Central & South America. The objective is to meet annual established sales budgets and achievement of year to year incremental sales growth as per management direction. Position Requirements consists of: Process knowledge and expertise with the ability to support customers with AFT parts and services for ventilation engineering proficiency in the defined markets. The ability utilize filtration and ventilation knowledge with the objective to work with the Regional Sales Managers in a team environment. Utilization of your various power customer contacts/network to improve customer relationships at both plant and corporate levels. When necessary, act as the primary sales contact for key accounts as directed by management. Coverage is primarily USA but also consists of some travel to Canada, Mexico, Central and South America. Strong training skills both internally and externally. Training includes developing power point presentations for use by the sales team. Position will be responsible for developing marketing strategies in support of the AFT products. Including the development of new products as per the direction of management. Must be able to effectively communicate orally and strong writing skills to communicate with customers, FLS sales and administrative personnel. The position will require moderate to heavy domestic and some international travel with extended stays. The position will attend industry related conferences and be willing to provide papers and presentations as it relates to AFT products. The ability to provide customers solutions to their problems utilizing AFT products and services. Must be able recommend potential products or services by collecting customer information and analyzing needs and marketing follow-up. Must demonstrate a basic understanding of baghouse services, engineering services, fabric filters, cages and accessories. Ability to utilize Microsoft Office and other IT programs to accomplish sales goals. Proficiently use CRM system (Contact Relationship Management) as a method to create, track, and report leads generated.
