The Client Success Executive is responsible for driving sales, promoting growth, and managing the client experience for assigned accounts.This client-facing role will serve a critical function in bringing awareness of client needs, strategies and processes across the organization. They will articulate these requests to both internal stakeholders and Cox Automotive business partners to ensure successful implementation and consistent results to increase client satisfaction. Key activities of this role will include oversight and management of daily activities, development of client strategy and data analytics to maximize the impact of new/current account growth and retention. They are responsible for minimizing transportation issues while mitigating client concerns, ensuring standard operating procedures are adhered to and meeting specific KPIs. The Client Success Executive will work closely with cross-department teams and Cox Automotive contacts to execute client and strategic solutions and product/technology implementation, serving as the key solutions advisor for transportation.


  • Implement and drive long and short-term business strategies within the business with a goal of growth, client retention and performance improvement

  • Ensures client needs and expectations are exceeded and/or met

  • Develops processes to identify and monitor client satisfaction

  • Drives client retention through continuous improvement of client experiences by review of current practices, analytics, and support

  • Reduces at-risk incidences by working directly with the client and internal teams to proactively identify issues and develop plans to resolve occurrences or client concern

  • Provides timely or cadence driven feedback on project updates and portfolio performance to clients and internal stakeholders

  • Stays informed with the ability to speak to clients about any updates within the automotive industry

  • Stays connected to business partners across Cox Automotive to ensure client experience continuity

  • Promotes a client-centric culture by facilitating and organizing client-facing meetings and touchpoints with the team

  • Leads, contributes, and tracks client and technology initiatives, at-risk resolution, and SOP adherence

  • BA/BS degree in related field and 3 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.

  • Proven track record in sales with a minimum of three years experience, preferably in the automotive or logistics industry

  • The ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of remarketing solutions, automotive retailing, and the automotive industry is a must

  • In-depth knowledge of logistics solutions and the ability to demonstrate the value of these services in the industry

  • Problem Solving: Develops solutions or alternatives to a variety of problems ranging in scope and complexity

  • Expected to have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to speak in large groups

  • Strong Excel experience and ability to manipulate data

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

  • Must be able to work both independently and within a team setting

The Client Success Manager, Strategic Accounts will develop and execute on digital marketing strategies for our company's regional multi-location clients. This role will formulate appropriate strategies and implementation plans, and will be responsible for the ongoing management of the client's digital marketing plan. About Your Responsibilities: The Client Success Manager, Strategic Accounts will advise our clients on how best to leverage current and emerging marketing solutions to meet their business needs, deliver exceptional ROI through fine tuning digital marketing campaign performance, prepare and present strategies for the overall success of their client's brand in the digital space, and assist in the retention of client revenue. This role will possess strong expertise in existing and emerging business marketing solutions that benefit large brands and will collaborate with our sales consultants to identify opportunities and effectively deliver on marketing solutions to best suit our client's business needs & maximize their return on investment (advertising expenses). Strong proficiency in customer relationship management, online search and display advertising techniques and Gannett & ReachLocal proprietary technologies are required. This role will facilitate client advertising performance discussions, develop and present client strategy plans, manage day to day campaign performance, assess digital campaign trends, and identify creative new advertising techniques to further our client's digital marketing needs. This role may require travel to client meetings across the United States.
