Location:

• This is a Remote role, but the candidate must reside in one of these counties (LA county/Orange County or San Diego County).

• The position requires travel throughout these three counties.

• There will be times you will visit the CA Bank & Trust office where you will interact and coordinate with Commercial Officers at the bank.

Zions Bank has just opened an opportunity for a Dealer Banking Business Development Officer based in the Dealer Banking Department. We are seeking a dynamic individual to help us expand the Dealer Banking footprint into new markets and continue to build out our $1 billion+ portfolio.

What will your day look like? You will be:

• Source and develop prospects, new clients and selling business banking services and products to dealers.

• Develop sales strategies and expanding referral sources.

• Pass off prospects to Dealer Banking Relationship managers to close relationship.

• Gather data to be used in selling process, participating in community organizations and activities, and assisting prospective clients in completing loan and services applications.

• Incumbents do not have responsibility for maintaining on-going relationships.

Who should apply? We want someone who has:

• Requires a Bachelors in Business, Finance or a related field and 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, loans, banking/finance products and services or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.

• Preference given to individuals with prior Dealer related marketing experience.

• Working knowledge of sales techniques, business development, banking/finance products and services.

• Must have solid customer service and negotiation skills.

• Solid communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Solid problem resolution and presentation skills.

• Ability to work with internal staff on relationships.

• Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and general PC's skills.

• This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $85,000 - $155,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience and location.
