This position is a highly collaborative individual contributor role where you will work closely with Sales, Finance, and Legal/Contracts. As part of a world-class Sales Operations team, you will actively support the Sales Organization through the quote to order process by teaming with peers to ensure deal alignment to company strategy, advise Sales on quoting process best practices for standard and non-standard deals, and assist in deal management in CPQ and CRM. What You'll be Doing ● Be the subject matter expert and advisor to the sales team for account and deal related matters, working cross-functionally with sales, legal/contracts, and finance on pricing, product, and terms for standard and non-standard deals. ● Operate as an escalation point to business partners for quote-to-cash operations and ensure compliance with published sales and business approval policies. ● Review all incoming deals for accurate terms, billing information, pricing, and products. ● Move deals through appropriate approvals process obtaining sign-off as needed from key business partners (legal, services, finance) to ensure deals are aligned to company strategy, policies, and ability to deliver. ● Review account entitlements and licensing to analyze account and customer footprint to ensure quotes, schedules, and amendments correctly reflect product upgrades, consolidation, and co- termination of renewals and add-on products. ● Be the go-to source for all CRM activity related to opportunity management and ensure accuracy, visibility, timeliness, and engagement on deals through regular audits and working directly with the field. ● Work productively with Corporate Sales Ops on CRM/CPQ process, data, and UI changes. ● Manage SKU and price updates process for direct and indirect deal contract vehicles. ● Maintain files and customer records in cooperation with legal. ● Participate in special projects as needed. ● Evolve and improve business practices, templates and processes, to increase efficiency of Sales and the Deal Desk team. ● Produce and maintain training documentation of sales tools and work cooperatively with Sales Enablement to consistently reinforce best practices.
