MX is looking to add a Deal Desk Analyst to our Finance Operations team. You will partner with sales, client success, and operations teams to (i) support management by ensuring strong data-integrity and (ii) analyze sales order structure and pricing to provide guidance to the sales organization.

Job Duties

• Act as a Sales-facing subject matter expert on process, policy, and pricing related matters

• Assist Sales teams in building and positioning complex orders, which involves acting as the liaison between Sales and other key partners involved in the deal structuring process (e.g. Sales Operations, Accounting, Order Management, Legal, Product Marketing, etc.)

• Partner with the Sales teams to ensure opportunities are properly built and tracked in Salesforce including stage, probability, booking amount, and various other required fields

• Be responsible for the day-to-day quote and pricing approvals

• Assist Sales with crafting Quotes, Sales Orders, and Partnership Agreements

• Maintain an agreed upon SLA on deal turnaround times

• Data-driven consultant to internal stakeholders using financial and operational modeling to answer complex questions

• Works in typical office conditions; read from and enters data into a computer

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or similar experience in accounting, finance, or related field

• Ability to distill complex information into easily consumable reports, statements and communications that provides insights, enabling quick decision making

• Strong quantitative skills and highly proficient in Excel or Google Sheets and Saleforce.com, with experience in Zuora or similar CPQ tools

• Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholder expectations, timelines, and deliverables

• Ability to work with data, inclusive of a keen attention to detail, data discrepancies, and down-stream dependencies

• Strong business acumen, strong reporting and analytics, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project management skills

Work Environment

At MX, we seek to hire candidates who drive results and achieve successful outcomes. We utilize a hybrid work arrangement style, which may require both local and remote team members to be in the office when necessary, to kick off projects, hold cross team strategy meetings, or complete key deliverables. Remote team members will travel into the office four times per year, and MX covers travel expenses associated with this requirement. Compensation

The expected on-target earnings (OTE), which is comprised of a base salary and other forms of cash compensation, such as bonus or commissions is currently $71,000 to $85,250. This pay range is just one component of MX's total rewards package. MX takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location, skillset, peer compensation.
