Job title: DC Tech Support Analyst
The overall main function is to provide technical/analytical support for the DSW multiple site DC Operations electronic controls and computing systems and equipment.
This includes working with outside contractors, Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to troubleshoot simple to complex problems and recommend appropriate actions. Determine root cause failure analysis and correct issues for long term solutions.This role is 2nd shift- Monday- Friday
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop systems support documentation and help recommend design changes.
Function as the "on-site" data collection systems engineer for problem resolution, automated material handling equipment (use of and problem solving).
Support Warehouse Control System (WCS)
Maintain bar coding equipment.
Manage the DC electronic equipment inventory.
Work with IT infrastructure teams i.e.; Network and/or ES Server groups, Etc.
Diagnose problems, perform failure analysis, and determine solutions
Work with logistical systems and electrical equipment.
Work with PLCs, motor controls and conveyor systems.
Perform PC repairs and understand Microsoft OSS in a Domain Environment, Office and UNIX Systems.
Work with LAN/VLAN and Wireless LAN basics.
Work with Wavelink Avalanche wireless management software.
Work with DC Electronic and AC Electrical systems and function
Work a defined but flexible work schedule as required.
