DC Supervisor

2nd Shift 5pm to 3:30am General Summary: Position Description:

Process management position, responsible for total customer satisfaction in shipping and distribution departments. Oversee all rushes from the initial approval process to the orders shipping out in a timely manner. Help answer questions and follow up on orders that need to be addressed quickly.

Must be able to work with other employees and managers from other departments. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure productivity goals and objectives are achieved Oversee the day-to-day order fulfillment operations Maintain worker efficiency and ensure employee accountability Provide update emails on volume levels and staffing Review/Monitor all customer service requests Ensure proficiency in picking; verify orders are sufficiently completed Effectively manage problem inventory Ensure a clean handoff to the following shift Support and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines Keep the work area clean and tidy Respond to daily correspondence in a timely manner Perform any reasonable request from line manager, this may include being assisting other departments Other Functions and Responsibilities Work with other departments Strive to better the company Send emails Perform other duties as assigned Physical Demands/Work Environment:

Stand and / or walk during shifts between 8 and 12 hours long Lift and move up to 50 pounds Ability to bend, twist, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and /or stretch during shift works hours. Able to consistently work at fast pace and maintain high productivity and accuracy Engage in full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists Work with and or around moving mechanical parts Must be available to work weekends Job Required Knowledge, skills and Education: Minimum of 2 years logistics or distribution experience Supervisor/Management skills in warehouse operations Computer Knowledge - specifically proficient in Excel, Word, RF guns and warehouse management systems Math skills - ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide Trouble shooting and problem solving Effective Communication/comprehension skills - verbal and written Must be 18 years of age or older Working holidays may be required Overtime is often required (sometimes on very short notices) Proven ability to perform independently with minimal supervision Attention to detail Good timekeeping and work attendance Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team Preferred:

High school diploma or equivalent Bilingual (English - Spanish) Reporting Structure: Reports to: Shift Supervisor or Manager Working Condition: Working condition is normal for the warehouse operation
