The Distribution Center Quality Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing and solving order shipment quality problems, to ensure that the company meets or exceeds customer expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Collect order shipment performance data using customer feedback or other sources of information; performance issues can be product, service or administrative related for customer or Interco orders
Publish Distribution metrics including trend charts and pareto charts analysis
Collaborate with the different DC departments and other sites to drive root cause investigation and build corrective action plans
Facilitate problem solving
Create and manage control plans and process documents
Develop and implement training plans
Follow-up on corrective action plan for effective and permanent closure
Perform continuous improvement inspections of shipments to ensure compliance to defined quality standards
5 years' experience with Quality concepts in a distribution environment
Experience with Six Sigma and Lean techniques
Demonstrated proficiency with statistics and statistical analysis for decision making
Ability to work cross-functionally
Effective verbal and written communication skills
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
Work in office environment
May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting
