Position Purpose:

Primary objective is to manage the inventory at the main and regional distribution centers with the goal of ensuring perpetual integrity and compliance with company policies, procedures and standards. Responsible for managing inventory systems, processes and supervision of cycle count and auditing process at each regional and main distribution center.

Supervisory Responsibility:

Direct supervision of cycle count and audit leads at the main and regional distribution centers. Leads a group of approximately 3 lead auditors (lead warehouse workers) and 8 to 10 cycle/auditors (warehouse workers). Management will include decision making on hiring, terminating, training and development of direct reports and cycle/audit group. Some management is conducting from a remote location.

Work Environment:

While some job duties are performed while seated indoors, the majority of the time is spent in the Distribution Center, where exposure to heat, cold, dirt, dust, fumes and noise should not be overlooked. May also be required on occasion to work in the warehouse, there may be risk of injury insulting from improper procedures.


A high school diploma or its equivalent (GED) is required, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. Three to five years experience in Distribution or Inventory management is required, an emphasis in inventory and quality control in a multi-outlet retail and distribution environment is preferred. In addition, intermediate knowledge of spreadsheets and warehouse inventory management systems is required. Analysis and problem-solving as well as exceptional communication skills are a must.

The Inventory Control Associate will be responsible for the following job duties: * Replenishing primary pick locations for material from overstock locations * Conducting cycle counts accurately through an RF gun as well as additional counts per the Inventory Control Supervisor including pipe and wire counts * Assist in moving product throughout the warehouse to the best pick position using a heatmap and set mins and max's to trigger replenishment tasks * Various inventory projects throughout the warehouse * Help resolve variance and inventory issues * Work with other departments on inventory storage and discrepancy resolutions * Annual physical inventory preparations and execution including prepping shelves, bin consolidations and audits * Identify and dispose of damaged material properly * Assisting with other warehouse duties as assigned.
