Join us in Cash Management, and you will help clients optimize their treasury and payment businesses and improve cashflow. As part of our Trade Finance team, you will deliver comprehensive solutions for every stage of a client's trade business.
In Institutional Cash & Securities Services and you'll provide trust, agency, depositary, custody and related services on a range of securities and financial structures. In whatever area you join us, you will contribute to maintaining our international reputation for innovation.
Your main responsibility revolves around Foreign Exchange (FX) Corporate trades including checking and verifying the underlying documents to comply with the current Central Bank regulation on FX. Your role also includes post settlement activities, regulatory reporting, anti-money laundering (AML) monitoring, reconciliation, etc.
In this capacity, you will handle the processing and settlement of FX Corporate trades and ensure completeness and accuracy of underlying trade documents. You will prepare payments (via Swift MINT, MC, PDDTS, CASA/IDMS) and settlements in the local and regional systems; check and report receipts and non-receipt of funds; and generate accounting entries and post manual entries. Moreover, you will perform reconciliations related to the assigned product operations (FOBO, Nostros, W/A, sundries and all related accounts) and investigate account breaks and provide supporting documents for account substantiation and break resolution.
You will generate and retrieve data from different systems required for reporting Manage Information System (MIS) and Regulatory and reconciliation; make sure trade confirmations are dispatched and matched; follow compliance of all procedures, such as Key Operating Procedures, Limits of Authority, Confirmation Procedures, etc. Furthermore. You will prepare maturity report and schedules for the day and escalate issues/concerns encountered with the service provider or any settlement or control issues noted. You will perform signature verification for documents/instructions, etc., prepares day-in-a-day reporting on a daily basis for escalation and control monitoring.
For this requirement, you should have completed Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent with a proven years of experience in operations. You are expected to have hands-on experience in banking systems and application, i.e.
Manage Information System (MIS), Microsoft Office, etc. You will need to have good communications skills and an excellent understanding of complex issues; you should be a team player with an ability to work in a fast paced environment.
