OVERVIEW:
Sability is hiring an experienced HCM Consultant. As a Sability consultant, you will be responsible for assisting clients during their implementation of Dayforce HCM Software solutions and providing post implementation support or enhancements.
REQUIRED SKILLS
  • 2+ years Human Capital Management (HCM) consulting experience
  • Strong analysis and consulting skills
  • Experience managing multiple clients or projects simultaneously
  • Solid understanding of the broad range of HCM Payroll concepts is required
DESIRED SKILLS
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) and/or technical degree (computerscience, engineering, business)
  • Dayforce knowledge preferred

Job Overview Coordinate and support DDC Payroll Operations with payroll processing deliverables on a weekly basis for the Local 163 DDC & AAC employees. On a weekly basis; review, calculate and load grievance, apprentice, bank holiday and sickness/accident payments. Insure all intern and local 163 shop weekly payments are processed accurately and timely. Perform thorough problem analysis, including problem related issues. Identify process improvement or automation opportunities by reviewing process, documenting the as-is and to-be processes. Help to implement changes in order to save time or costs to the business and/or improve data integrity. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for the DDC Supplemental Unemployment Benefit program and for the annual processing of tool allowances, performance bonus and paid absence allowances. Payroll Coordinator will learn all payrolls and be able to act as a backup for other team members. Responsibilities * Process all union grievances, including calculation of pay, for payment and issue report to plant HR. * Process all apprentice, including calculation of pay for skilled trade's employees. * Review and process all accrued bank holiday and shift differential payments to insure accuracy. * Process jury duty and military leave pay for shop employees. * Process earning template adjustments from time office. * Review and process sickness/accident and extended disability transactions received from medical office. * Process deduction template adjustments such as Michigan Industrial shoes, skilled trade licenses, ID badge fees and plant work clothing. * Process shop W4 and direct deposit transactions and support AAC Special Incentive program. * Support customer office window drop ins, lease vehicle customers and Canton PDC adjustments. * Process "Opt Out" medical/dental, hourly incentive program and voluntary termination program. * Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from an accredited university/college required * An attached resume is required * HR/Payroll PeopleSoft system experience preferred. * MS office (excel/word)knowledge required. * Payroll transaction experience preferred. * Proficient verbal and written communication skills required.
