Daycare Teacher (Part Time)

The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking a motivated and nurturing individual to join our team as a Part-Time Daycare Teacher.

As a Part-Time Daycare Teacher, you will play a vital role in nurturing and educating young children. You will create a safe and stimulating environment, implement developmentally appropriate activities, and support the emotional and social development of each child. Your passion for early education and dedication to ensuring the well-being of children will be critical in making a positive impact on the lives of our students.

Salary: $16.00- $20.00

Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing and engaging environment for children in the daycare center.
• Implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the daycare center.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement lesson plans.
• Conduct regular assessments to evaluate the progress of each child.
• Communicate effectively with parents and provide regular updates on the child's development.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with young children preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood development and education best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.
• Flexibility in adapting to changing schedules and needs.
• CPR and First Aid certification (can be obtained upon hiring).
