Daycare Assistant Teacher (Full Time)

Position Overview: Responsible for assisting the Head Teacher in the general supervision and management of a class of children. Must communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's growth and development.

Position Specific Duties/Responsibilities:

Assist in planning and implementing the daily program under the direction of the Head Teacher. Assist in planning and preparing the learning environment and preparing needed materials and supplies.

Supervise the program when Head Teacher is out of room. Attend required staff meetings, training programs and conferences

Position Qualifications:

High School Diploma or its equivalent and one year experience in child care, early childhood or related program or three years experience in early childhood or related program. Must have a warm and friendly personality, be sensitive to feelings and needs of others, be able to relate well to both children and adults, and be willing to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with center philosophy.

Salary: $35,360- $46,000 (This is an hourly based position based on 40 hours a week)
