Duties

Are you the next mental health provider? Join the Wilder Day Treatment Team!

We are a diverse team that provides collaborative mental health services Mon.-Fri. to a small caseload of children aged 6-12 years. Services are provided on site and occasionally in homes and the community. The children and families we serve are diverse, and we are committed to providing services in ways that creatively and meaningfully meet whole-child and whole-family needs.

We are looking for a BA Mental Health Practitioner to provide skill development and training in our day treatment setting by ensuring children's emotional, social and physical needs are met, structuring a safe environment, and developing nurturing, positive relationships. The Day Treatment BA Mental Health Practitioner contributes to the overall therapeutic program through peer mentoring, daily planning, and group facilitation, communication with the treatment team, school contact, and transporting clients in agency vehicles. Wilder is a learning organization committed to the development of each team member, so ongoing professional training and supervision by a Mental Health Professional is provided.

Wilder is a first-implementer Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). As part of this innovative model of mental health care, you will collaborate closely with other service partners in ensuring coordinated, integrated care for clients and their families. While we are set up to serve the entire community, we are known nationally for our culturally-specific mental health services.

Join a team who brings their diverse identities, cultures, lived experiences and skills to provide mental health and wellness services that are trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and impactful for the whole family. In addition, you will have access to professional and leadership development opportunities, which includes clinical training and supervision, development funding, tuition discounts, career development, and upskilling opportunities. You will also have access to Wilder's inclusion, diversity, equity (WIDE) council, employee resource groups, and other DEI development opportunities available to all employees. Eligible federal loans may also qualify for deferment through the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF).
