Job Summary:
The Day Program Supervisor/Life Skills Instructor at Ray Graham Association in Naperville, IL, is responsible for developing meaningful, skill-based curriculum and providing case management to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Day Programs. This role involves facilitating group activities, implementing Person-Centered Plans, and promoting personal growth through community connections and vocational experiences.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate daily group activities to promote personal growth of individuals in the day program.
Develop and oversee the implementation of Person-Centered Plans.
Utilize community resources for community connecting, vocational experiences, and volunteerism.
Provide direct supervision to Direct Support Professionals (DSP) ensuring quality services.
Uphold the Mission & Values of the Association.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree preferred.
High School diploma required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience working with adults with developmental disabilities.
1-2 years of supervisory experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Clear on all checks of the Health Care Workers Registry.
Valid Illinois Drivers License.
Ability to pass PACE certification.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Capable of lifting and transferring adults weighing up to 75 lbs.
Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening.
