Day Materials Coordinator

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Continuously monitor the Material Planning Page in Ramco for AOG orders and use sound judgment on the need to transfer inventory or purchase inventory based on operational demands to fill immediate needs;

• Work directly with approved vendors to quickly procure and transport parts needed for AOG orders;

• Arrange the appropriate transportation services for AOG orders to ensure that the company's aircraft/bases receive parts, tools and equipment, intact and on time;

• Be knowledgeable on how to create, edit, cancel, authorize, confirm, and short close material requests, stock transfer orders, stock transfer issues, stock transfer receipts, purchase orders, loan orders, stock status conversions, and record shipping details;

• Foster the best use of company funds when purchasing inventory and scheduling shipments;

• Ensure the preservation and storage of all materials, parts, and supplies in a condition enabling them to be installed or used on civil aviation articles;

• Prepare shipments by assembling, packaging, protecting and labeling containers;

• Be knowledgeable on all areas of hazardous material shipping, and being able to properly complete necessary paperwork for shipments;

• Processing issues including selecting the part from the warehouse, evaluating that the part has appropriate documentation/forms attached to it, confirming the issue in Ramco, and moving the part to shipping when applicable;

• Follow the processes, Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs), fill log turnovers as required for the position by the ERAs standards; and

• Performing other Duties as assigned by the Strategic Sourcing Manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite required;

• Experience in Material Control, i.e., Stores Clerk, Customer Material, Inventory Control, Shipping, Receiving, or related field preferred;

• Aviation industry experience preferred;

• Purchasing experience preferred;

• Experience with Hazardous Material control and shipping preferred;

• Must be available for overtime and/or work flexible schedule as job requirements dictate;

• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds as required;

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
