Day Care Assistant

Job Description Job Description We are currently looking to hire an assistant caregiver. Must be over 18, and CPR/First Aid certified (Or obtain asap). We care for up to 12 children ages 15 months to four years old and spend as much time as we can in child-led play and outside play.

We teach the kids to use kind words to one another, to respect each other's boundaries, and to have a growing curiosity about the world around them. (We spend a lot of time outside). The position can be full or part time and the hours are flexible. Weekends off except the occasional training day for state requirements once or twice a year. All major holidays off.

You must be able to pass a state background check and a drug test. We are open Monday-Friday 7am-5pm. Pay is based on experience and will be decided after your resume is reviewed and an interview has been conducted.

We also give special bonuses throughout the year for maintaining compliance. Responsibilities: Supervise and interact with children in a safe and compassionate manner Implement creative activities to assist with child development Create a positive and nurturing environment for children Perform a variety of tasks, such as dressing, feeding, and overseeing play Qualifications: Previous experience with childcare or other related fields
