Provides support in daily operation of running day camp activities including supervision of day campers.

Transportation of day campers to events with T.S.A. van.
Conduct various day camp activities, prepare daily snacks, and supervise day campers.
Periodically file and prepare statistical reports.
Maintain clean work areas that are affected by day camp activies.
Promote favorable public image through dress, appearance, marketing and public relations.
Conduct devotions and other activities/duties as assigned by the Day Camp Director.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties as may be assigned and appropriate for this position.
MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT: Basic recreation and sports equipment.
Must obtain "Safe from Harm Training Certificate" within six months of hire.
Ability to relate well with the public, children, and other staff.
Ability to work with little or no supervision in a professional manner and maintain confidentiality.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED/REQUIRED:
Ability and experience working with children preferred.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
LICENCES AND CERTIFICATIONS: Valid Michigan Driver License with clean record with two years driving experience required.
