This job works with staff to satisfy ad hoc reporting requirements and to extract, summarize, and compile data from various databases to include, but not limited to Echo, Premier, and Infoview. Works with staff to create and improve operational efficiencies through the adoption and enhancement of best practices and improved processes; assists with systems administration task as assigned. Demonstrates the ability to build and write reports and serves as the champion for database management.

Serves as a champion for complex report writing within various databases.
Collaborates with staff to improve operational efficiencies through the adoption and enhancement of best practices and improved processes.
Uses available reporting tools to develop, verify, and deploy new reporting.
Tracks issues, resolves problems, and appropriately escalates issues to manager or vendor.
Assists with systems administration tasks as assigned.
Collaborates with internal and external customers for defining, planning, and implementing database projects.
Promotes process improvements.
Conducts training sessions for new processes.
Able to accurately define project scopes, appropriately prioritize tasks, and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Education: Associate's degree in Computer Science required.
Experience: 2+ years of Information Technology experience. Adept at queries, report writing, and database management.

Special Training: Proficient in Office 2007 suite required with the ability to utilize complex databases to produce information. Experience and working knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems (including XP and Windows 7). CompTIA A+ certification a plus.
