The Database Marketing Manager will spearhead the implementation and ongoing management of the new Opry Entertainment Group Customer Data Platform. The role will require strategic planning and research regarding the utilization of customer data to inform marketing strategy, business and product development decisions, and sponsorship valuation. The Manager must identify new and existing data sources to verify validity and monitor collection methods to ensure compliance. The Manager will collaborate and communicate frequently with several teams including digital marketing, customer service, sales, IT services, and on-site teams for each brand.
Develop and oversee the execution of a strong CRM/CDP strategy that will impact all areas of the business.
Work with marketing department to improve customer experience and drive core business objectives at each stage of the customer journey through email marketing, digital advertising, and website personalization.
Identify key data points and monitor all data sources to verify validity, identify crossover, and maintain data integrity across multiple brands.
Monitor data collection, storage, and utilization methods to ensure compliance with national and international privacy laws.
Drive database growth strategy with assistance from the marketing department and individual brand managers.
Identify, report, and recommend a plan of action on data patterns that could positively or negatively impact the business.
Provide consistent reporting on the progress CRM/CDP strategy and related marketing efforts covering workflow, costs, attributed revenue and analysis.
Act as liaison between Opry Entertainment Group and data partner and provide support and training for various departments to ensure full utilization of the CRM/CDP platform.
Keep all departments informed of changing landscape of customer data, privacy laws, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Database Management and Marketing
Experience in Email Marketing with hands-on use of major ESP (SalesForce Marketing Cloud/ExactTarget, Emma, Campaigner, etc.)
Solid understanding of CRM solutions and strategy (Netsuite, Salesforce, Lytics, etc.)
Experience with A/B testing, customer segmentation, and personalization Database marketing experience
Experience with customer journey mapping
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills an absolute must
Basic knowledge of HTML and SQL
