IT Concepts, Inc. (ITC) is seeking an experienced

Responsibilities:

• Database Design and Architecture

• Design and implement database structures that meet business requirements.

• Develop data models and database schemas.

• Optimize database design for performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Database Development

• Write and maintain complex SQL queries and scripts.

• Develop stored procedures, functions, and triggers.

• Implement data integration and ETL processes.

• Database Management and Maintenance

• Install, configure, and upgrade database management systems (DBMS).

• Monitor and maintain database performance, including tuning and optimization.

• Perform regular backups and recovery procedures.

• Data Security and Integrity

• Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data.

• Ensure data integrity and consistency across databases.

• Monitor and manage database access and permissions.

• Troubleshooting and Support

• Diagnose and resolve database-related issues and errors.

• Provide support for database-related queries and incidents.

• Work closely with development and IT teams to resolve issues.

• Documentation and Reporting

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database structures, processes, and protocols.

• Generate reports and data visualizations as needed.

• Document troubleshooting procedures and resolutions.

• Collaboration and Communication

• Collaborate with software developers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data needs.

• Communicate database-related updates, issues, and improvements to relevant teams.

• Participate in project planning and implementation meetings.

• Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated with the latest database technologies and trends.

• Recommend and implement improvements to existing database systems.

• Participate in database performance tuning and optimization initiatives.

• Compliance and Standards

• Ensure databases comply with industry standards and regulations.

• Implement and enforce database policies and procedures.

• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and best practices.
