This is an Information Technology (IT) position within the company with overall responsibilities for creating customized applications and maintaining existing custom tools. The individual in this position will participate in the planning and creation of custom applications as part of a project team. The individual in this position will work closely with IT Infrastructure members on application documentation, application deployment from testing to production and maintenance of the applications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Experience in software development, using Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012/2016, T-SQL, SQL Server Database Design, Stored Procedure Design and implementation. Must know SQL inside and out.
Communicate and problem-solve technical problems on-site and over the phone with people of varying technical expertise to bring issues to resolution as quickly as possible
Build user interface applications and back end databases using various programming and scripting languages
Work with the implementation team to design, modify and integrate existing systems with new ERP system and future systems
SAP or NetSuite experience a plus.
Responsible for the business process analysis, solution design, and implementation including setup, configuration and customization, training and overall application management
Experience with NetSuite tools such as SuiteScript, SuiteLets, SuiteCloud, SuiteFlow and custom records/fields
Perform data migration and integration tasks from legacy to current business solutions
Establish, coordinate and follow data integrity procedures, processes and policies
Support the project team to implement process improvements with systematic solutions and train end users on how to effectively use ERP systems features and applications
Take a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and data cleanup as necessary
Provide project status updates to project manager on a regular basis
Help automate the interaction of Microsoft Excel and Word with Scientific Systems
Develop, implement UAT and roll-out changes in Production
Comprehensive and understanding of regulatory requirements as they as they apply to 21 CFR Part 11
Follow company SOPs, Policies, and Practices
Effectively train, mentor and develop junior staff
Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in computer science or related discipline.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years related experience in IT.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
Other: Requires good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills and must be fully competent in IT functional area. Requires knowledge of Windows IIS 6 and 7 for web based application delivery and administration/configuration Microsoft SharePoint. Requires knowledge of implementation of electronic signatures in a regulated (FDA) environment.
