Database Developer

JPC Partners is looking for a Database Developer that will write PL/SQL code to automate. The Developer will be exposed and trained to use many facets of the PL/SQL suite of software products deployed to manage the client’s energy system called eDART. 

• Review and document existing PL/SQL code
• Create and modify PL/SQL APIs

Requirements

• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL code is preferred, but not required
• Ability to write simple SQL queries, such as joins and aggregates
• Understanding common concepts for database development, such as triggers, indexes, sequences
• Strong data analytic skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication for documentation
• Energetic, resilient candidate, who is known for great attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing business priorities
• Familiarity with HTML is preferred, but not required
• Someone who is energetic and passionate about their work, extremely positive and solution driven, and is willing to learn
• Newly graduated or soon to be earning a B.S. degree in computer science, management information systems, or information systems will be considered
• Engineering applicants with strong academic credentials and strong information systems background will be considered
