SG2 Recruiting is partnering with IntelliDine's search for a seasoned, fully Remote Data Architect to join our team and play a critical role in shaping our enterprise data landscape. This position requires a deep understanding of data management principles, database design, and data modeling techniques and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in advanced query optimization and performance tuning, a mastery of data modeling and schema design, and an understanding of high availability and disaster recovery planning.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze enterprise data management policies, processes, and procedures to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Design, implement, and maintain PostgreSQL database implementations, leveraging your expertise in database language theory, design, SQL, and database programming.
• Develop dimensional data models and schemas for data warehouses, employing conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling techniques.
• Facilitate information discovery sessions with stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts to capture accurate terminology and context, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
• Develop shell scripts and automation processes to streamline data-related tasks.
• Contribute to developing standardized business vocabularies across large organizations and multiple business units, promoting data consistency and clarity.
• Assist in mapping the business and technical architecture of delivered solutions to technical and functional requirements, ensuring seamless integration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree, US citizenship, and an IRS MBI clearance.
• 5+ years of experience with PostgreSQL database implementations, database language theory, database design, SQL, and database programming.
• 5+ years of experience analyzing enterprise data management policies, processes, and procedures.
• 5+ years of experience with dimensional data modeling and schema design for data warehouses and conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling techniques.
• 5+ years of experience facilitating information discovery sessions with stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts.
• Experience with shell scripting and automation.
• Knowledge of developing standardized business vocabularies across large organizations.
• Ability to assist in mapping a delivered solution's business and technical architecture to technical and functional requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a deadline-driven environment, managing and prioritizing multiple tasks effectively.
• Experience in System Architecture and Design.
• Experience with Cloud and DevOps principles.
• Experience with security and security remediation practices and principles.
• Proficiency with Jira, ETL tools, SQL, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
