Job Description Job Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Database Analyst in Miami Lakes, Florida. This role is a hybrid, meaning you can work remotely or from the office.
You will be working in the banking industry, where your primary responsibilities will involve analyzing account activities for possible money laundering, terrorist financing, and fraud. Responsibilities: • Analyze account activity for potential money laundering, terrorist financing, and fraud using various methods. • Review and analyze alerts generated from the Bank's AML monitoring system. • Conduct comprehensive research into customer accounts and document findings accurately. • Prepare Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) when suspicious activity is detected. • Collaborate with IT department to resolve issues regarding the AML system. • Communicate with account officers to ascertain if activity is reasonable with the purpose of account. • Participate in team meetings and adhere to workflow deadlines. • Assist AML Supervisor in special projects related to system or special investigations. • Review questionable activity detected from the Bank's AML monitoring system and draw proper conclusions. • Handle a large workload efficiently, correctly, and within designated timeframes.• Proficiency in CRM usage and management • Solid understanding of Database Objects • Familiarity with various Database Systems • Experience with DB2 Database is essential • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel • Knowledge and experience in AB Testing • Understanding of Backup Technologies for data security • Experience in Business Intelligence (BI) tools • Ability to Create Dashboards for data visualization • Strong skills in Data Analysis and interpretation
