Our Information Services Division (ISD) is currently recruiting for a dynamic DatabaseAdministrator to join our team!

As the Database Administrator, you will be supporting our agency by serving as the highest-level professional authority for our database administration, database authentication, and inter-application database security. Your knowledge and experience will be essential for making system recommendations needed to maintain security, functionality, and efficiency across several critical systems across the state. You will also be responsible for performance monitoring and making performance tuning recommendations on all critical agency databases. Additionally, your exceptional communication and ability to collaborate with the team will be an asset during database design reviews and performance design recommendations.
Some of what you will be doing:
Serve as SQL Database Administrator, independently working closely with Developers, IT Architects, System Administrators, Network and Project Management to ensure all database system needs and requests are met.
Provide Data Management operational support for all agency database systems.
Perform SQL Server Administration and Monitoring.
Monitor SQL Development and Tuning.
Research data technology while also consulting and mentoring on this topic.
What you will bring:
Experience must include:
Information technology areas.
Specifically:
System Administrator
Architecture
Network
Developer
Three (3) years of experience as a Windows Server Administrator.
OR
Education to experience equivalency:
Associate degree = 2 years | Bachelor's degree = 4 years | Master's degree = 5 years
Education may not be used in lieu of all experience.
What will set you apart:
A Bachelor's Degree including nine-semester or 15- quarter hours of related technology courses.
Five (5) years of experience in a position within Information Technology specialty areas such as: Developer, System Administrators, Architecture, Network or Security.
