Huntington Ingalls Industries - Technical Solutions Division, Integrated Mission Solutions Group (Camber Corporation) provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Information Technology, Federal Civilian, and National Security, Aerospace & Defense and International government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide.

HII-TSD, Integrated Mission Solutions Group (Camber Corporation) was recently awarded a multi-year contract supporting the United States Postal Service (USPS) and is pro-actively seeking Database Administrators to work out of their client's field office.

Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following):

  • Under general direction, provides highly technical expertise and guidance in the design, implementation, operation and maintenance of database management systems (DBMS)

  • Designs, implements, and maintains complex databases with respect to JCL, access methods, access time, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods

  • Evaluates and recommends available DBMS products after matching requirements with system capabilities

  • Defines required database administration policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines

  • Prepares and delivers presentations on DBMS concepts

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is preferred

  • All levels of experience accepted

  • Special credentials (licenses and/or certifications) may be required at the Task Order level on a case-specific basis

Security:

  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

  • Must be able to obtain and keep a USPS Sensitive Clearance

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or have a Green Card and have been living in the U.S. for at least the last five years

  • Must not have traveled outside of the United States for more than 180 days in the last five years

  • All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening per HII requirements

Ability to write and debug SQL & PL/SQL. * Oracle IAM – Administering and maintaining Oracle IAM for CAC-SSO authentication with Oracle EBS. * Oracle Discoverer - Administering and integrating with Oracle EBS R12.2.x. * Oracle Enterprise Manager – Installation, configuration and integration with Oracle EBS, RDBMS, IAM and Linux O/S for administration, monitoring and alerting. * Comfortable working in UNIX/Linux environments. Linux and shell scripting expected. Ability to read, write and schedule complex shell scripts. * Strong critical thinking and excellent technical troubleshooting skills. * Performance tuning a must. * Ability to solely and fully support the Sustainment and Project environments periodically during on-call rotation. * Excellent communication, core consulting, client and documentation skills. * Self-starter, proactive and a team player. * Active Secret clearance required. * Active CompTIA Security+ certificate.
