Responsible for analyzing, discovering, designing and developing Data solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, test, implement and maintain highly scalable data management systems
Ensure systems meet business requirements and industry practices
Research opportunities for data acquisition and new uses for existing data
Integrate new data management technologies and software engineering tools into existing structures
Create custom software components (e.g. user defined functions, reusable components) and analytics applications
Employ a variety of languages and tools to integrate systems, improve data reliability, efficiency and quality
Collaborate with data architects, IT & BI team members on project goals
Bachelors degree in Computer System, Information System Technology or related field preferred
Continuing education in Big Data technologies preferred
Basic insurance knowledge or experience preferred
2 + years of related work experience.
Should have sound SQL (PL/SQL or T-SQL) skills.
Experience with any ETL tool / SSIS is required, data modelling experience is preferred
Experience working with data tools like Toad / SQL Developer, SQL Server management studio
Knowledge on data storage, security, masking and governance
Experience on Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, JSON, HTML, XML is preferred
Exposure with any big data tools / technologies is desirable
