Job Description


Under direct supervision, assists in the data design, database architecture, metadata and repository creation. Designs and develops Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) processes for the data warehouse. Reviews data loaded into the data warehouse for accuracy. Assists in the troubleshooting and tuning of existing data warehouse applications. Assists in the development, maintenance, and support of an enterprise data warehouse system and corresponding data marts. Assists in creating new or enhanced components of the data warehouse.

Minimum Education Required

Bachelor's Level Degree

Required Qualifications

  • A college degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Typically has 0-4 years of experience in Information Technology (preferably experience in Data Warehousing)

  • Experience interacting with customers to gather and understand their business and technical requirements

  • Experience with data modeling tools (ERStudio preferred)

  • Experience querying relation database management systems - Microsoft SQL Server 2017 and above preferred

  • Hands on experience in ETL tools, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) 2014 or above or similar tools is preferable

  • Work experience in developing technical and user documentation.

  • Knowledge and experience with hospital systems and business practices

  • Stay abreast of technological trends as well as healthcare technology trends
