We're looking for you, a front-end developer who will use equal parts skill and vision to create an experience that delivers functionality and efficiency and brings life to our R&D efforts that enable their successful propagation across DoD markets.

Bring your passion for creating an amazing User Interface and User Experience (UI/UX) to Booz Allen. We need an experienced front-end developer who will use their passion to guide a development team to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. This is an opportunity to resolve problems in the Air Force by collaborating with a development team to build a web-based R&D solution with user-centric design.

On our team, you'll coordinate UI/UX designers and back-end developers to create a seamless user experience using React. Your team will ensure accessibility for all users by developing a front end that functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements. With mentoring, positive code reviews, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

You Have:

• Experience with JavaScript

• Experience developing front end applications using React, AngularJS, Angular, Vue, or Dojo

• Experience with HTML and CSS

• Ability to work with RESTful micro-services using languages such as Python or NodeJS

• Ability to work with usability analysis, testing, and client-facing engagements, including design discussions and product demonstrations

• Ability to use JavaScript mapping libraries, including ArcGIS, Leaflet, or Mapbox

• Ability to work with UI development, data analysis or visualization, and software design

• Ability to obtain a security clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience building solutions that directly enable the mission of the DoD or U.S. Air Force

• Experience working with various Air Force disciplines and the data and tools associated with these disciplines

• Experience with ArcGIS Server and Portal and interoperability with custom web applications

• Experience with a task runner and build system, including Gulp, Grunt, Webpack, or Rollup

• Experience with testing frameworks, including Protractor, Jasmine, Karma, or Selenium

• Experience with network security, including access and authorization for PKI and chain trusting

• Experience with CSS frameworks such as Material Design, Bootstrap, or Foundation

• Knowledge of Git and GitLab

• DoD 8570 Compliant Security+ or CISSP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,100.00 to $119,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
