In this position you will be responsible for transforming complex data sets into visualizations. Your aim will be to help stakeholders understand the data trends to make informed decisions. You'll work with teams of data analysts to collect data and create/maintain informative data outputs. This work requires a close working relationship with multiple divisions within SEARHC to evaluate trends and identify opportunities for healthcare improvement. Much of this work is performed with considerable independence with minimal direct supervision provided, following initial training.
Additionally, you will play an integral role in supporting and facilitating the design, development, and implementation of data collection methodologies for evolving improvement reporting efforts. Reports may be reviewed and utilized by the Board of Directors, Senior Management, and other internal and external stakeholders.
Key Essential Functions and Accountabilities of the Job
Data extraction and reporting of data and trends. Ensures proper collection and validation of data for analysis and creation of data and information visualizations.
Work closely with project managers to understand and maintain focus on their analytics needs, including critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers.
Develop and maintain databases by acquiring data from primary and secondary sources and build scripts that will make our data evaluation process more flexible or scalable across datasets.
Create and maintain documentation of visualization processes, tools, and best practices.
Ensure that all visualization and reports are accessible and meet compliance and accreditation requirements.
Work collaboratively with the Data Team to develop a plan of action and participate in process and performance improvement initiatives.

Education, Certifications, and Licenses Required
Experience Required
3 years' experience with report writing and data analysis.
Previous experience using database applications and spreadsheet design.
Experience with large databases and visualizations.
Knowledge of
Data management and reporting.
Principles and techniques for displaying data.
Ability to analyze data and identify trends and insights
Skills in
Oral and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
Advanced computer skills.
Strong SQL or Excel skills, with aptitude for learning other analytics tools.
Ability to
Apply knowledge to analytically solve complex problems.
Work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Work well in a team environment.
