Data Visualization Analyst - Onsite

Location: Millsboro, DE - ONSITE (NO hybrid / remote options)

Primary Purpose

Work with business leaders across Mountaire to provide analytical and dashboard support to all areas of our business, helping to improve competitive performance and increase profitability. Also lead the development and refinement of analysis/models that assess the financial, operational and market potential of proposed business plans and acquisition opportunities.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Create data visualization tools for data and metrics reporting real time to business leaders and provide ongoing support and management of the dashboards once completed.

• Build models to predict optimal operating parameters and levels with the ability to test assumptions. Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in large data sets.

• Use data mining to extract information and identify patterns or trends to drive business decisions.

• Blend data from multiple systems to prepare reports for upper management.

• Prepare ad-hoc reports as needed, prepare reports on findings for VP's, Directors and Controllers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (accredited school) with emphasis in: Information Technology, Mathematics, Management Information System (MIS), Statistics or Business Administration or 4+ years' experience in a professional reporting role.

• 2 years of related experience in a reporting role focusing on data visualization. Tableau preferred.

• Tableau and Excel/Power Query experience preferred.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Excellent computer skills.

• Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills: Office Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau or Alteryx experience.

• Must have the ability to combine business experience and insights with analytical modelling skills to reach results that are both intuitive and technically sound.

• Solid understanding of data sources, data organization and storage. SQL experience is a plus.

• Needs strong business judgement, leadership and integrity; able to bring a healthy, balanced approach to business.
