Centric Consulting is hiring Data Transformation Analysts for our National team. Data Analysts are the important link on projects, helping bridge the gap between different teams while also making sure the clients' business problems and needs are understood.

Centric offers both a local model with minimal travel as well as a National travel model. This role would involve regular travel (typically within the US).

This is a mid-level full-time/contract opportunity.

Summary

The Data Transformation Analyst is responsible for developing data models and then specifying how raw source data is transformed into those models. The responsibility for data accuracy rests on your shoulders. You will partner with a Business Analytics Designer to ensure a high-quality data warehouse and visualization solutions.

What You Will Do

Review existing business requirements: UML information models, business and metric definitions, analytics use cases and visualization specs

Design data models to meet business requirements

Maintain data models in a data-modeling tool (e.g. Enterprise Architect, Erwin, etc.)

Physically implement data models in a database and then manage in source control

Analyze source data

Interact with business stakeholders to determine how to handle data quality and data governance concerns.

Develop and document SQL queries to extract data from the source system in a fully transformed state.

Communicate SQL specifications to ETL developers

Conduct code reviews and data reviews to ensure the transformations where implemented per your specification.

Participate in data validation and testing

o Very strong SQL skills

o Forensic data analysis skills

o Experience writing sophisticated data transformations

Data steward or other data governance responsibilities

Strong written and verbal communication

Target Experience
5+ years' experience around the skills mentioned above

Position Summary: The Process Engineer is responsible for driving transformative change in the company by leading both strategic, high-impact enterprise improvement initiatives and embedding a program of change management and continuous improvement into the culture of the organization. The position is part of the Enterprise Transformation Office (ETO) - a small, dedicated team focused on driving change initiatives and developing a dynamic change culture in order to enable the successful execution of corporate strategies. The position requires direct interaction with the company's Executive Management, senior leaders, and other stakeholders from across the organization to identify problems and create and implement impactful solutions to the organization's most challenging issues. Primary Responsibilities: * Execution of strategic, high-impact, enterprise improvement initiatives chosen by Executive Management from across the business divisions. For these initiatives the position requires working collaboratively with team members to: * Drive best practice problem-solving approaches to define problem sets and hypothesis, gather and synthesize data, and then design and implement solutions with measurable impact. * Deliver consultation and collaborative thought-leadership with impacted functions to ensure success of initiatives. Act as a thought leader in a 'data driven' environment driving data-based decision making across the enterprise. * Lead cross-functional teams working on Enterprise Transformation Initiatives that have senior executive and Board of Directors (BOD) visibility. * Work across multiple functions to design and implement innovative processes to achieve project objectives. * Design and deliver clear metrics to measure the success of the project or initiative. * Deliver projects on time and on budget, navigating organizational challenges and proactively driving business results. * Exercise formal and informal influence to impact key decisions to drive effective execution and results.
