Kelly Services has 2 Data Technician positions available immediately. This is a great entry level, long term temporary assignment for a very reputable utility company.

Looking for someone that has CAD and excel experience, two year technical degree or equivalent experience. Primary role will be maintaining lighting records within multiple software programs. Will be required to do some field work.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy a must, comfortable with uploading reports into work management system and data entry. This is a Monday through Friday role between the hours of 8am-5pm and with ability to work at least 30 hours within those hours. Experience with enQuesta, GTech, Cascade and COGNOS a plus.

EDUCATION High school diploma/GED, Associates degree in design/drafting engineering technology or related field and/or equivalent experience TRAINING * A general knowledge of the Quality Program Manual & WI-21, WI-22 * Software specific training EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS * 2-4 years mechanical drafting background and experience * Good proficiency required in 2-D detailing in Pro-Engineer and AutoCAD * Good proficiency required in basic Pro-Engineer file manipulation and Windchill file management system. * Ability to detail tooling, complex equipment, and weldments and verify quantities and completeness of releases * Proficiency required in the generation of equipment assembly and customer documentation packages * Good knowledge of equipment manufacturing and assembly methods * Good knowledge of Tennessee Rand equipment build standards, technical guidelines and the QA ISO 9001 program * Ability to support shop as needed with drawings and assembly information. * Computer proficiency in Microsoft excel applications * Relies on limited general instructions and supervision to perform the job functions * Relies on limited experience and judgment to accomplish goals * Works under the general supervision of the CAD supervisor and the mechanical engineering manager * RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to the following) * Detail tooling and equipment designs as submitted by the appropriate Mechanical Engineer. * Follow general detailing and documentation methods specified by the CAD Supervisor. * Follow general detailing and documentation methods specified by Tennessee Rand Technical Guidelines and /or customer specification. * Verify quantities and completeness of drawing release against information submitted by the appropriate Mechanical Engineer. * Create project documentation packages as requested by the Project Manager. * Verify quantities and completeness of documentation shipment against information submitted by the Engineer. * Make corrections to drawings as requested by the Mechanical Engineer, and CAD Supervisor. * Release engineering drawings to manufacturing using Tennessee Rand release process control methods – submit release forms and drawings to the Mechanical Engineer for final verification.
