Bold Group is seeking an experienced Financial Software Data Support Technician for our office in Canton, Michigan. This is a Level 2 Support position that requires an extensive knowledge of Microsoft SQL and its use to diagnose issues within Customer databases.

You are able to create queries that reveal issues such as broken joins, orphaned records and flawed relations, and have an aptitude for troubleshooting and designing scripts to correct these issues. You are able to build queries to be used in reporting and data analysis.

We prefer that this role is based in either our Canton, MI or our Colorado Springs, CO offices, but are open to top talent across the U.S. As a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, our offices are closed through the remainder of 2020, so this role will train and work remotely while our offices are closed.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues on our Customer databases
Propose and create correction scripts for identified issues
Provide Help Desk Support for the SedonaOffice accounting application and its related products
Triage application and system errors and escalate as needed
Assist other support representatives as needed
Document Customer interaction using the Company's Sales Force support application
Participate in application testing and quality assurance
Perform other duties as needed including answering phones.
Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Extensive experience creating scripts and queries using T-SQL
Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services
Experience with Microsoft Access and Excel
Ability to explain database issues to non-technical staff and clients
Knowledge of accounting principles is helpful but not required
