Description Do you have experience with managing enterprise server backups and large storage arrays?

Would you like to perform diverse systems administration duties?

If so, we're looking for someone like you to join our team at APL. In this role, you'll work with a team of experienced storage and systems engineers to manage our enterprise backup and storage infrastructure ecosystem.

As a Data Storage Engineer, you will… Administer and configure APL's Enterprise Data Storage backup systems, including monitoring backups and resolving problems.

Configure storage, troubleshoot and resolve storage performance issues, conduct capacity planning and performance tuning and respond to customer storage requests. Administer and configure Network Attached (NAS), Storage Area Network (SAN) and associated components. Upgrade software and apply patches to ensure storage platforms are in compliance.

Qualifications You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you have… A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience. 2+ years of storage administration experience configuring enterprise storage arrays. 2+ years of system administration experience with Linux/UNIX Servers with demonstrated experience writing and troubleshooting Linux scripts. A strong desire, initiative, and ability to continuously learn and acquire new technical skills. Are able to obtain Secret level security clearance.

If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship. You'll go above and beyond our minimum requirements if you have experience with… Experience with data storage backup products, especially Cohesity.
