BS/MS in Engineering, Math, Statistics, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience. Advanced degree preferred.
4+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, data engineering and business intelligence
3+ years experience in data analysis techniques such as Logistical/Linear regression, Neural networks, Market basket analysis, Clustering, Segmentation, Time Series Clustering, K means Clustering etc.
3+ years hands on experience in analytics and reporting using advanced SQL, data warehousing, ETL.
3+ years experience in statistical modeling using clustering, classification, text mining algorithms (Naive Bayes, Association analysis, Regression, Decision Trees, etc.)
2+ years of experience with customer analytics concepts, such as CLV modeling, churn modeling, real-time customer evaluation, and recommendation engine is a plus.
2+ years experience in Big data, HBase, Hive, Solr, Aster, Lambda architecture, streaming data processing, data modeling.
2+ years of experience with customer journey analytics (nPath analysis, Text/NLP processing, Transaction, search & entity extraction etc.)
Exposure/Experience with open source tools and technologies such as micro services, Play, Akka, Redis, Cassandra, Elastic search

The position also requires collaboration across larger organization to deliver intelligence using digital sales KPIs, clickstream, omni channel, social media, site traffic, customer feedback, site performance logs, benchmark studies and various other data sets.
This position is critical to driving data driven insights that will assist improvement of online channel by driving online channel mix form 15% to 30% in 2017 and driving additional gross adds and upgrades.
The ideal candidate should have exposure on correlating the customer experience with digital sales performance to bring out insights on improvement areas. The candidate should have knowledge on competitive analysis and be extremely familiar with digital platforms such as Adobe analytics.
In this role, the candiate will develop a team that will be implementing descriptive, predictive and prescriptive capabilities to improve digital sales
