Data Scientist Virginia

MUST HAVE: 

• Python, PyTorch.  
• Flask (knowledge at minimum with ability to quickly pickup).  
• Familiarity with REST APIs (at minimum). 
• Statistics background/experience. 
• Basic understanding of NLP. 

• Experience developing and deploying testing and verification methodologies to evaluate algorithm performance an identify strategies for improvement or optimization. 
• Experience performing research or development with natural language processing and working with, deploying, and testing Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), large-language models (LLMs) or foundational models. 
• Experience deploying machine learning models on multimedia data, to include joint text, audio, video, hardware, and peripherals. 
• Experience with Linux System Administration and associated scripting languages (bash).  
• Experience with Android configuration, software development, and interfacing 
• Experience in embedded systems (Raspberry Pi) 

• Demonstrated experience with the ability to listen and transcribe from mission need to technical requirements.

• Demonstrated experience triaging and troubleshooting data issues.

•  Demonstrated experience preparing task plans, task documentation, and overall activity reporting documents.

• Demonstrated on-the-job experience working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

• Demonstrated experience transferring and handling sensitive data.

• Demonstrated experience preparing task plans, task documentation, and overall activity reporting documents.

• Demonstrated experience working with other technical teams across multiple organizational boundaries, and ability to work independently or as a team player.

• Demonstrated experience documenting and communicating technical and non-technical mission requirements for all audiences.

• Demonstrated experience planning and coordinating program management process activities such as Program Reviews, Requirements Review Boards (RRB) and Control Gate Reviews, including scheduling and facilitation of meetings and preparation of briefings and presentations. 

• Demonstrated experience providing support such as technical writing and technical editing, integration of various sources into a cohesive product; preparation of graphical and narrative presentation material.

• Demonstrated experience coordinating project schedules, creating or distributing minutes and action items.

• Demonstrated experience tracking action items for successful completion.

• Demonstrated experience working with users to define requirements for analysts or operational customers.This is a full-time position, and requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.
