Job Responsibilities
  • Develop reliable systems that are scalable, and maintain current software to ensure its effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Optimize user effectiveness, and seek and process feedback to determine areas of improvement and other changes that could further enhance the user experience.
  • Research and evaluate new types of technology to assess their feasibility and implementation in accordance with company objectives.
  • Create organized and accessible ways to document code and track changes in software including updates for future reference and use.
  • Perform regular unit tests to determine the effectiveness of current software and to catch glitches that could slow or hamper organizational growth.
  • Implement new types of software and introduce innovative technological advancements to maintain a competitive edge in the industry.
  • Educate and update staff and executive management about how to use various software, while ensuring their understanding and accessibility.
Job Skills & QualificationsRequired
  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or related field
  • At least eight years of experience working in software development
  • Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
  • Experience creating models
  • Java coding experience
  • Mining and analyzing data sets

You will maintain our product roadmap in accordance with business objectives as set by senior management and client feedback. You will work collaboratively with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure a consistent and measured approach to product delivery that meets client scope expectations. You will report to the Head of Data Product Management, Senior Vice President. Due to COVID-19, this role will be remote until further notice. The location of the role will be based in Greenwich, CT once we reopen. Responsibilities * Mentor and manage other Data Product Managers * Partner closely with Business Development, Data Operations, Data Development, and other cross functional product and business teams * Balance short term needs of the Data Operations and Enterprise organizations to facilitate the growth of external client relationships and propose the long-term goals of client integration technology * Maintain a product roadmap consistent with business mission and vision * Work with stakeholders to develop new and upgrade existing platform features and discuss product development timeline and priorities * Collaborate with Software Engineering team to define and manage the software Quality Assurance process * Manage the weekly release planning and deployment schedule * Ensure the user experience and style guides are consistent across our entire product platform * Perform root cause and impact analysis to investigate data issues and make recommendations for potential solutions Candidate Profile * Proficiency in SQL and hands on coding experience in the infrastructure or data space * Advanced understanding of reference and hierarchy data management, data governance, data quality, data processing and pipeline management * Integration experience and foundational knowledge in how systems efficiently communicate * Data modeling background and understanding of third normal form (3NF) techniques * 6+ years of experience leading agile data teams and 10+ years of experience building technical solutions.
